Making A Spoke Shave Blade
I bought a nice little two bladed spoke shave at 66 Unique Antiques in Nashville, MI. It had one cracked blade but I knew I could make another. This is how I did it.
A similar method can be used to make scrapers, plane, blades, chisels, all manner of cutting tools.

Restore A Hand Plane
The Defiance Planes were made by Stanley for the DIY Market back in the early 50's. Good inexpensive planes. In their day they were very popular. Now they are a real bargain. Better than the Handyman planes or the HF plane shaped objects. Fully restored Defiance planes can be found for under $40.00. Cleaned, sharpened and ready to go.

Rebuild a block & tackle

Cushman Chuck Disassemble
I work with antique equipment and a few newer tools. Most of my work is repairing and upgrading houses, buildings, and vehicles that I use day to day. For fun I rebuild old tools with old tools. This is one of those projects.
